Last night (Wednesday 8 May), Jumeirah Carlton Tower hosted the annual Chestertons Polo in the Park tournament draw where the hotly anticipated clashes were announced.

Six city Polo teams from across the globe (including Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Zurich, Kissimmee, London and Dubai) will descend on the iconic Hurlingham Park from 7-9 June to play three fiercely competitive matches every day in front of a packed-out crowd. The tournament winners will be crowned on Finals Family Funday, Sunday 9 June. The tournament draw revealed a tough first match for the home side, as Jumeirah Team London face the Americans, Team Kissimmee, on the opening day of the summer tournament.

There to witness the tournament draw were some of the world’s leading polo players, socialites and stars alike to launch Chestertons Polo in the Park 2019. Liz McClarnon, Ruby Mae and Jean Fernandez Versini rubbed shoulders with Jeremy Parisi, Victoria Clay, Nurce Erben and Andreea Cristea as they enjoyed Slingsby Gin cocktails and Champagne Lanson, paired with canapes from Jumeirah Carlton Tower’s executive chef team.
